At first the site works perfectly but after i change pages about 3 or 4 times the site goes down giving me(the issue below 403) even though I have not done any new modifications in that time. http://tannercode.azurewebsites.net/ is my site does anyone know a solution?

Error 403 - This web app is stopped.

The web app you have attempted to reach is currently stopped and does not accept any requests. Please try to reload the page or visit it again soon.

  • Hi,

I suggest to go to the Azure portal and see if you can find any reasons for why your web app is stopped. Also you might try the KUDU environment to access log files, event info, etc. You can reach this environment for you web app on the following URL: https://tannercode.scm.azurewebsites.net

Make sure you are logged in with the Azure credentials you used for the deployment of your app.

    Hope this helps!

  • Hi Tanner,

The Free tier has limitations that, if you go over them on your usage, will make your sites go offline. Depending on which resource you overused (for example, memory consumption is by hour, CPU time by day) it might be back up in a bit, but it depends which limit you broke.

Check the Web App's statistics on the Portal and see if your CPU or memory consumption might be high. Bandwidth can be another problem too or the amount of apps (10 max).
