contextual disable contextualTab(Set) ;) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

i'd like to disable some contextual Tabs (e.g. Tabletools), when the cursor is in my ContentControl. (How) is this possible? I just found the xml-way, but this doesn't match my kind of problem.

    thanks.

  • Hi Otis,

It’s based on my experience that via xml is the only way to do that if you want to disable word default tab. You can get ribbon form the Globals.Ribbons collection if the ribbon is a custom created ribbon, and get the ribbon tab from tabs collection.

  • Hi Rgds,

Thanks for posting in the MSDN Forum.

    Would you please some questions?

    1.                  What kind of Office software you want to customize?

    2.                  What version of it?

    3.                  What version of the Visual Studio you use?

    Have a good day,

    Tom
