Hibernate Issue in Windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Recently I had done a fresh installation of Window 7 Ultimate (x64).

My laptop has Core i3 2nd Generation @ 2.40 GHZ, 4.00 GB of RAM, 2.00 GB of Graphics Card & 500 GB Hard disk (SATA).

My problem is that I am unable to perform "Hibernation". Whenever I try to Hibernate the system, "Lock Screen" appears.

The file needed during Hibernation i.e. "Hiberfil.sys" can be seen in the System drive (C:\) which has a file size of 2.88 GB still "Hibernate" process doesn't take place.

Please reply with the solution and required steps to be taken to start "Hibernate".

    Awaiting Reply..
