  • I suggest looking at the notify functions like CERunAppatEvent. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms928544.aspx

  • Hi,

I went through what you said but the thing is that i want to run my application at startup(at bootup) independent of any event. So what i tried is putting my application in Registry entry through  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Init. But it seems like the registry  entry is non-persistent.....

  • Hi Shantanu,

The notify API uses the scheduler to launch applications.  Note that the instructions https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms924527.aspx state that you need to be using Platform Builder.  If you are not the OEM of the device, that is building the OS, the scheduler is your best option.
