Are Express versions of VS still available for free download?

Tried to look for Express versions of VS but couldn't find downloads. The last one I found was VS2015. Is MS still offering that option?

Hi,

those got replaced with the Community editions: https://www.visualstudio.com/vs/community/.

Another great tool for free by Microsoft is Visual Studio Code.

It's a bit confusing.

Products come, products go. It's basically that you mentioned these Express editions that I remembered about them as the Community editions of VS have been out for several years already now.This week I found out that my colleague loves to make use of the VS2017 community edition at home for some home brew coding.
