We are getting below error intermittently on Active Node . The same systems is running from past 5 Years.
This is SQL Server 2005 on Windows Server 2003 (Active/Passive).
Whenever we getting this error, We are failover from Node1(Active ) to Node2 (Passive) and rebooting the Node1. After successful reboot moving back to Node1.
We don't have any security/permissions use with SQL Server Agent.

I found that you submitted a thread with the same issue in 2010, and you resolved the issue by restarting the node yesterday. Thanks for your contribution.
From the error message, this issue can occur if some other application blocks accessing some SQL Server agent dlls or folder, after restarting the server, the lock was released. If the issue occur again, I suggest following the steps on the KB912399 to take related permissions first without restarting the nodes. If the issue persists, please let us know.
