Visual Studio Pro 2013 stuck at applying .NET framework 4.5.1 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi.

I recently downloaded Visual Studio 2013 Professional to try my hands at app development. But while installing it on my Win 8 PC, the setup got stuck at trying to apply .NET framework 4.5.1.

I then tried to manually install the framework. But that too failed.

The error for this was : HRESULT 0x80240017

I tried inserting the screen shots of the error screens, but apparently I can't attach Images or links until verified.

Can someone please help me on overcoming this little problem, please ????
