  • hi,

Im currently trying to add hotspots to faces for peoples names.

the problem im having is it always wants me to make it into a hyper-link.

I'am adding the persons name via the 'screen tip' field.

  • I don't think you can turn the auto hyperlink creation off. A simle way around this would be to add a dummy link name to all the hotspots and then use find and replace to delete the 'href=' from all the areas when you've finished.

  • I think you might want to post this in the Expression Web forum. This is the Design forum.

  • Is this a group photo or individual photos? If it is individual photos use the title attribute in the image tag.

If it is a group photo then you are probalby using an image map and that requires links but you an use javascript;; in the href field for a null link. href="javascript;;".

  • Cheers for the help guys.
    problem solved.

yes it was a group photo.

so i just simply made a link, went into the code and removed each and every 'false' link.

    job done.

    works a treat!!!

    Cheers Much Appreciated.
