body.prependAsync adds some random signs in Outlook 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    When I use

    Office.cast.item.toItemCompose(Office.context.mailbox.item).body.prependAsync('something something something'),
    {
    coercionType: Office.CoercionType.Html
    });

    in OWA everything works fine, but I found something interesting in Outlook 2013:

    It happens many times and this text which is not mine is usually random and always on the end of my text.
    On above screen it looks like name of file which not exist on my computer.

    Do You know what is the reason of this? How correct this error?

    Regards,
    Kamil

  • Hi Kamil,

    You said that it happens many times, I would like to know do you know what scenario that it has the issue?

    What the data that you specified? (something)

    Could you reproduce that issue in a new project?

  • Hi

    My application append text to new mail message. When I do prependAsync in OWA everything is correct, but when I execute the same application in Outlook - look screens below .

    I use this JS code:

    Office.cast.item.toItemCompose(Office.context.mailbox.item).body.prependAsync("My HTML IS BELOW",
    {
      coercionType: Office.CoercionType.Html
    });

    This is my HTML (code below):

    And screens from Outlook:

    Do You have any ideas?

    Regards

    Kamil
