TF31002 error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am trying to set up my TFS installation to use HTTPS. However, we keep getting a TF31002 error stating:

Unable to connect to this TFS: https://srvtfs.companyname.com:17013/tfs.

    Team Foundation Server Url: https://srvtfs.companyname.com:17013/tfs

    Possible reasons for failure include:

    - The name, port number, or protocol for the Team Foundation Server is incorrect

    - The Team Foundation Server is offline

    - The password has expired or is incorrect

The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found

Port 17013 is set for our https Team Foundation Server Binding.

Does anyone has experience with a similar issue?

    Thanks in advance,

    Aaron

  • Hi,

    Thanks for your post!

In addition to what urielalo's said, I recommend you install TFS Power Tools and run a SharePoint Products Health Check or a Team Foundation Server Complete Health Check and see if it works.
