  • Hi,

    You cannot use name "12100PR" and "20000RP", they should begin them with non-numeric charracters like "A12100RP" or "_12100RP".
    You cannot user "Timer1_Tick.Start" and "Timer1_Tick.Stop". User "Timer1.Start" and "Timer1.Stop".

    I guess you are a student and it is a school assignment. If this is correct, I cannot provide code, can only some suggestions.

  • Hi,

    I would like to ask you
      (1) remove tags (i.e. <g>...</g>)
      (2) use [Insert Code Block] if it is code

    Regards,

  •  That is because a Control, Sub, Function, or Variable name must start with a Letter character,  it can not start with a number.  If you really need the names to be a number,  then you can start it with an Underscore character like _12100RP.  Otherwise it will need to be a letter character from a-z or A-Z.

        Private Sub _12100RP_Click(sender As System.Object, e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
            Timer1_Tick.Start()
        End Sub

     However,  normally an event handler sub would have the same name as the button,  Button1_Click.

    If you say it can`t be done then i`ll try it

  • Hi,

    If you wrote your reply in your mail software, please write it on a thread in your browser for readability.
    And I hope you will explain what you want to do in your code.

    Regards,
