Increase auto-scale and alerts quotas? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a reasonably sophisticated set of deployments and are hitting the wall of 10 auto-scale and alert limits for preview. I would really like to raise these quotas on our subscription. Is there an official route to make this request?

Normally I would go through the support ticket channel to make this request but since these features are in preview that doesn't seem the right way to make the request. Any advice? These quotas are really getting in our way.

  • Hello,

Our apologies, but there is no mechanism today to increase the per-subscription quota for autoscale and alerting. At this time, the only workaround we can recommend is to divide your resources across multiple subscriptions.

    Thank you,

  • Thanks for the article, you have my vote on this one. The upper defautl limit for Cloud Service is 20; even in preview, I believe this feature should at least allow 20.

  • We want to use this to scale down all the various non-production deployments during off hours to help us save cost. If we have to split our deployments across multiple subscriptions to accomplish this, it will not generate any more revenue for Microsoft, just more work for us.
