WHCK WFP Transition Technology Tests on Win7 targets get driver signing warning for Spart miniport RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it expected that the Sparta Miniport driver package installed as part of the WFP Transition Technologies test will raise a driver signing warning on Windows 7 targets?

It did not raise such a warning on Win8 / Win8.1 targets.

The Win7 systems are WinUp patched completely and have all root certificate updates.

    Thanks.

  • I am investigating the issue. You should not be seeing this if the driver was signed properly AND the machine under test has the correct certificates.

  • What version of the HCK are you using?  To find the version, on the HCK Controller, go to Add / Remove Programs,
highlight the HCK program name, and on the bottom of the window, you should see something like Product version: 8.100.9600

  • Sorry for taking so long to reply.   I have 'notify' turned on for this thread but notify never seems to let me know that activity occurs on any thread.

    The version is 8.100.26063
