xaml datavisualization show as percentage RRS feed

  • Hi

    I dont have any xaml experience and I have been thrown into fixing up a xaml windows store app, so forgive me for the stupid questions.

    The app displays a bar chart using datavisualization, the original developer was using a sting converter but the data returned from the database should not be converted, just shown as a percentage.

    What was happening is the value of the database was 8.35, but by having the following in the xaml:

    DependentValueBinding="{Binding Perc_Cont_TY_Net_tot_sls, Converter={StaticResource StringFormat}, ConverterParameter='{}{0:P0}'}"

    the number is displayed in the chart as 835%

    All I want to do is display the number as a percentage, so in the chart is should display 8.35%, how do I edit the above xaml to not convert the number, i tried removing the converter, the bar then doesnt draw at 8.35 % just draws a line on the 0 axis.

    Is there any documentation out there on this?

    Kind regards,
