Exchange 2019 CU update error "$error.Clear();" Solved RRS feed

  • Hey guys,

    I'm trying to update my Exchange server 2019 CU1 to CU7 but I get this error and don't know what to do with it, I am just a beginner when it comes to servers so please take that in mind.

    Error:

    Cannot stop MBAMService service on computer '.'. ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: Access is denied

    Could you stop malwarebyte before the upgrade  ?

    Thank you! It solved the problem I forgot to stop Malwarebytes before starting the update.
