How do i remove the navigation buttons on the bottom of a form in Access 2016 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to create a form specifically to add a new record to a table. However it seems that every form I create it defaults with the normal navigation buttons on the bottom of the form. See image where I point to this section.

I just want a button on the form itself(add a button to the form design) that will create the functionality of adding a new record.

So my question is how do i remove these navi buttons at the bottom of the form?

Answers

  • Open the form in design view.

Activate the Format tab of the Property Sheet.

Set the 'Navigation Buttons' property to No.
