[resolved] SSL certificate with CN "data.am2-1.database.windows.net" expires on April 18, 2013

    Question

  • UPD: This issue has been resolved, the certificate was replaced with one expiring on Aug 01, 2013.

SSL certificate with common name "data.am2-1.database.windows.net" that is used on SQL Azure side to facilitate https connections to SQL Azure expires on April 18, 2013 (in 9 days from now).

Microsoft has to update the certificate ASAP, otherwise we'll have incident as this one http://blogs.msdn.com/b/windowsazure/archive/2013/02/24/windows-azure-service-disruption-from-expired-certificate.aspx repeated.

This is not a client side problem, no "please try X" and no "why do you do Y", thank you. Microsoft has to fix it on SQL Azure side.

Note that this happened before Apr 15 and the "certificate migration" process everyone was talking about.
