Shock Wave Flash Help! RRS feed

  • Question

  • Alright, so im new to c# and I've got a problem I cant figure it out.

    So, I double click on my shock wave flash object adding it to the form but when i debug i get this

    this.AutoScaleDimensions = new System.Drawing.SizeF(6F, 13F);
                this.AutoScaleMode = System.Windows.Forms.AutoScaleMode.Font;
                this.ClientSize = new System.Drawing.Size(284, 264);
                this.Controls.Add(this.axShockwaveFlash1);
                this.Name = "Form1";
                this.Text = "Form1";
                ((System.ComponentModel.ISupportInitialize)(this.axShockwaveFlash1)).EndInit();
                this.ResumeLayout(false);
    But specificly this is highlighted
    ((System.ComponentModel.ISupportInitialize)(this.axShockwaveFlash1)).EndInit();
    Could someone tell me whats wrong and what needs to be done to fix this?

  • But what is your problem? What do you want us to fix? Which file is highlighted? Highlighted where? What is wrong with that?

  • I dont know what error you encounter with shockwave flash object. my suggestion is that,if you are using VS 2005 or 2008, make sure your flash object component is registered. The file is Flash10a.ocx or Flash10b.ocx it depends on the version of flash player you have. Now to register it, open the command, and type the line below and press eneter, you should get a successful message pop up

    regsvr32 "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash10a.ocx"

  • Use the webBrowser control and input your html code to make it work, if not use the Flash Component in your toolbox
