Recording a mcro with Ctrl-F RRS feed

  • Question

  • Word 2010

I want to record a macro which contains a find function. So I start with activation of the recording, then I press Ctrl-F and fill the values After that I delete the found value. Then stop recording.

When I check this macro there is no search function in it.

It contains only the things I entered afte the Ctrl-F.

Why does it not record the Search function, this worked normally correct in Word 2007

  • Hello pvdlee,

To record Find function, please click Advanced Find..

In Office 2007, Ctrl+F is used to open the Find and Replace dialog for Find function. However, from Office 2010, Ctrl+F is used to open Navigation pane.

    Regards,

    Celeste
