  • Hi LanceDeimont,

The TableLaoutPanel control cannot be modified in an inherited form. Actually lots of controls do not support redesign in an inherited form. We do not recommend modify the controls in an inherited form in design time which would lead an inconsistence and so many errors. You can get more information from:
    https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=115264.

By the way, the link below discusses about Windows Forms Inheritance:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa983613(VS.71).aspx.

Let me know if this helps.
