Expression Web 4 Product Key RRS feed

  • Question

  • A few years ago, right after Expression Web 4 was released I obtained a free upgrade from Microsoft form Expression Web 3 to 4. When I down loaded the program from the link provided at the time I received a product key. The program I received was the Expression Web 4 Studio. This key has worked for me for several years. Recently my computer crashed and I had to wipe my HD. I re-installed all software including Expression Web. This time however I had to go use a "trial version" download. I then included my key when asked and it worked. Today, when I logged into Expression Web, I got a popup window stating that I needed to provide a product key or continue with the trial. I tried to use the key above and it says that it wasn't valid. I then tried the link for activation of product and got a message saying that the product is already activated. I need help please. My OS is Windows 7. I tried to use the Microsoft Support line but since I reside overseas, they don't recognize my address...I have an APO AE address as opposed to a City and State.

  • GET THAT PRODUCT KEY OUT OF THERE!

You just posted your activation key for the entire world to see!

Jeez. Seriously? Activation keys are supposed to be private--that's why everyone gets a different one! Common sense.

You may have a bad license store on your computer. MS is the only one that can help with that. You'll have to figure a way to get to them; they oblviously deal with people overseas all the time. There's more info in the Forum FAQ.

  • Thanks Bill, I know. I had originally written that for the Microsoft techs then when it wouldn't let me forward the email to them because their form didn't recognize the address, I copied the wording and pasted there with the intention of editing out the key, but alas, I was in such a hurry I forgot. Thanks for the reminder.
