How to get the Outlook group contact list by using API? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi <g class="gr_ gr_37 gr-alert gr_spell gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" data-gr-id="37" id="37">msdn</g>,

    Currently, I am preparing the console application to get the outlook group contact. First I tried to get the group list by API (https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/groups?$orderby=displayName)in graph explorer but I get the following error.

    Status Code: 403

    {
        "error": {
            "code": "Authorization_RequestDenied",
            "message": "Insufficient privileges to complete the operation.",
            "innerError": {
                "request-id": "78f9ff85-ab2c-4e54-bbCb-5bcb6d56a043",
                "date": "2017-02-01T09:43:00"
            }
        }
    }

    My doubts are

    1. I am not the admin for our company Outlook account. Do I need the admin account credential to GET this group details?

    2. Is the same graph URL work in the console application WebRequest?

    3. Can you please guide to get the group list (Group ID) and group`s member list?

    Regards,

  • Small Basic is a programming language. You are asking about another programming language.

    Look for another forum dedicated to your language. Google is your friend
