BSOD when installing WFP driver on clean Windows 10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

Some clients of the company that I develop software for have reported a strange problem with our software. Our software uses an WFP driver that when installed on clean Windows 10 machines (version 1703) get a BSOD. After running Windows Updates, the problem stops happening.

However, this is not a solution for us. We need to identify the cause of the BSOD and the update that causes the problem to go away.

I have crash dumps from a machine that experiences this. Please let me know how to proceed with this problem and where to post the memory dumps.

    Thank you,
