How can I renew a retail subscription into a volume licensing agreement? RRS feed

  • Question

Seems to indicate I can do this:

"It is also allowed to renew a subscription that was purchased in the retail channel onto a Volume Licensing agreement, then to upgrade to a higher subscription level by purchasing a Step-up License."

But it seems unclear how to actually do this. MSDN customer service indicates it's not possible. Additionally, I have the "ultimate" subscription so I wouldn't need to upgrade, just renew.

    Thanks
