Multi column layout in a single cell table in MS Word RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    I need to create a MS word document in (Word 2007) with multiple columns. And then I need to put the entire body of the page in a single cell table. When I insert a table first and then set the page layout to use two columns the table gets split into two separate tables but I need to have both columns under a single cell table.

    Does anyone know how to do this?

  • Hi Sah

    It's not supported - you can't do it. "Newspaper" type columns cannot layout inside anything (neither a table, nor a textbox).

    Why do you feel the document content needs to be inside a one-cell table?
