Including dynamic entities in the entity framework RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

    I have a database and i am using entity framework for the same. I have designed my architecture based on the repository approach as described here (LINK).

    The problem i have is this works fine when I am using the entity framework refreshed to the tables that i have permamnently. But my application that is there also creates some tables dynamically.

    The tables that get generated dynamically all follow a simillar structure and are created by another process that runs seperate. For example the tables follow the below structure :

    Table --> Column , ParentColumn

    The number of tables created are dynamic and in some cases they may be linked to other datatables and in some cases it will not be.

    Table1 --> Table2 --> Table3

    OR

    Table1

    Is there some way i can get that into the repositoiry architecture without refreshing the designer. This issue is that more tables can be added, existing tables can be dropped etc.

    The standard tables donot get altered, so i can use the designer for them .

    Any suggestions on this ? If not possible what is the best option so that i get all tables in a structural way.
