How can I know if a table is edited? RRS feed

  • Question

  • By using VSTO, I download some information from a database and fill it into some tables in Word. Then, I change some information in one of the tables. How can I know which table it is?

Answers

  • If you use 'Track Changes', Word will keep a record of what changes were made, where and when. You can then use the revisions collection directly, looking for revisions in tables or by looping through each table looking for revisions in that table.
