  • Hi,

Did you take a look to this post ? : http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/wdk/thread/9e7cdfa6-0f03-4b92-affe-c3fb6fb12181

I think you need to provide an IPv6 address :

    WDTFREMOTESYSTEM

Required ONLY if there is a wired NIC on the test system AND it does not have an IPv6 gateway address. If determined to be required, please provide an IPv6 address that the NIC can ping to test network I/O (for example: fe80::78b6:810:9c12:46cd).

    LAN

    • Device has an IPv6 address
    • Device has an IPv6 gateway address (otherwise WDTFREMOTESYSTEM parameter should be passed to the test with an IPv6 address that the test NIC can ping)
    • Device’s network operation status is IfOperStatusUp

    Regards.

  • Hi,

    Error is pretty explicit :

Error: 4/22/2013 2:47:08.210 PM WDTF_SIMPLE_IO : NetworkSimpleIO.Network.1 SetTarget() ERROR : NetworkPlugin: SetTarget() - Test NIC does not have a gateway address to be able to test network I/O. It seems that there is a problem related to your network configuration on your device. Maybe this topic can help you : http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/1295/thread/20e54a1d-efd5-4d1e-820b-13b76722a16a

  • Hi,

I am not clear about above mention thread.

In this test require a "WDTFREMOTESYSTEM"  parameter of its value..?

I didn't understand what is that parameter is either IPV6 address or anything else..?

  • Hi Ingenico,

Thanks for providing a valuable information to me, now its fine(cause:lack of IPV6 address).

  • I solved the problem. I've added a test computer and IP v6 address 1 define a virtual nic. I define the ipv6 address the physical network to the network device. (Including Gateway) Ping is successful, passed the test.

    For example ;
