How to run individual WHCL WFP tests? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!

The WHCK WFP driver test suite consists of > 100 individual tests. This means that if I fix a problem in one test, I have to run the entire test suite again to confirm the fix...very painful.

Is there a way to run individual WFP tests through the HCK Manager or Studio?

  • Hi,

If tests are individual you should be able to run them separatly.

  • The WFP tests are not individual but are separate jobs wrapped up in the WindowsFilteringPlatform.pck.

One thing I suppose I could do is copy this .pck and edit it to delete what I don't want to run. Unfortunately, there's no documentation available for this let alone what a .pck file is. However, is this something I could do for isolating WFP tests?

  • Hi,

I don't think the test will pass if some jobs are missing, even if they're individuals.

I'm afraid you have to run the entire test over and over again.

Try to fix several issue in one time before running the test again.

    Regards.
