Is playing buffers in c# possible ?! RRS feed

  • Hi

    I`m trying to play some sound that generated by a signal generator from my app. Can any one help me that can i play it by directsound or i must play it by api ?!
    My app is written by c# and i need speed.Of course i don`t want to intrrupt playing because a noise will be heard there.
    Also i tried secondarybuffer of managed directsound but it can not play buffers without intrrupting previous playing

  • First take a good look at what forum you posted this in. You probably won't get the best responses here.

    That said, .NET is not the easiest to use if you need to directly access buffers. It's possible to do using pinning or just IntPtr buffers, but it's not a common use case so it's not easy.
