Many transactions in one file transform RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi guys,

I'm developing an EDI transform from EDIFact to XML, I have an issue: I receive the EDI file from the client and this file contents 5 transactions in one file, but after Biztalk processed this file, it will generate 5 XML files, this is OK, but I would like to know if I can configure Biztalk to generate the result in one file within 5 transactions? In other words, one EDI file within 5 trasactions In, then one XML files within 5 transactions out?

    Thanks.

Answers

  • If you actually want to transform the data (Gyan's solution will output 1 single xml file, true, but you can't subscribe to the message).

You will need to create a convoy orchestration if you want to actually do anything with the message.

  • Hi,
In the party as a Interchange sender tab go to the field "ACK generation and Validation" in this there is drop down box of name "Inbound batch processing option" in this drop down box choose "Preserve Interchange - suspend interchange on error" . Then restart the host instance and try to send the file again. choosing this option will not split the transaction sets.

    Thanks
