    Is there a way of activating the "Locate Me" function from the Bing Maps Api?  Clicking on Locate Me works even when the browser does not provide the location.  I would like to initially center the map on user's location programmatically with the same result as clicking "Locate Me".

    Bing Maps V8, by default already centers on the users location if it is known. Bing Maps V8 actually uses the users IP address to get a low resolution location for the user. The map uses this when it loads to center the map. If you press the locate me button and choose not to share your location in the browser, then the lower resolution location that was determined via IP address is used.
