How to get schema from stored procedures having temporary tables RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using the command.ExecuteReader(CommandBehavior.SchemaOnly) option to retrieve schema of stored procedures. If the stored procedures have temp tables in them, message box with message "Invalid database object #temp" is displayed. I understand that the workaround for this is to append SET FMTONLY ON in the stored procedure, but is there a way to do it programmatically? (maybe at the connection level)

If i use the CommandBehavior.KeyInfo option then I get the primary key columns as well which I dont want. Has anyone come accross this problem or has any solution/alternative to this.
