Problem with mailItem.Copy() when mailten is digitally signed RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I have written an application with VisualStudio2013 in which I make a copy of a saved mail in MSG Format.

    The code is like this:

    objMailItem = mailItem.Copy

    All works fine, but when I use a digitally signed mail with a trusted signiture, the new mail will be created without this signiture.

    Do you have a solution?

    Best regards

    According to your description, could you copy one digitally signed mail manually to reproduce this issue? As far as I know that MailItem.Copy method copy just about all the properties from an original item. Of course things like EntryID will be different. If there is digitally sign you don't see on the copy from the original then you must sign them by yourself.

  • I cannot reproduce this. What makes you think the returned message is not signed?
