  • Hello Bhavin,

For the operation system itself, there is no path for upgrading from
Windows Server 2008 32-bit to 64-bit. The only way is to re-install the
operation system with Windows Server 2008 64-bit installation disc.

If you don't want to create a new domain, you can simply build a new
    Windows Server 2003 64-bits server.

If you concern about establish a new domain based on Windows Server 2008
64-bit, you can migrate the old domain which is based on Windows Server
2008 32-bit to the new domain with ADMT v3.1.

Please note: When we use the Password Export Server version 3.1 (PES v3.1)
to enable password migrations during account migrations in the different
platform of Active Directory Domain Services infrastructure, we need to
note that the PES v3.1(X32) and PES v3.1(X64) must be installed on the
domain controller according to the platform.

You may download the "Password Export Server" from the following links:

  • hello, Bhavin Mistry, sorry to ask unrelated question on here, but this is the only way I think out. When I want to ask a question on this forum, I cannot find the "Windows Server 2008 Application Compatibility and Certification" in any forum category... But Why, do you have ever encountered this problem? Thanks.
