  • Hi Islam,

    Welcome to the MSDN Forum.

What do you mean about "VC++ files required by the .NET 2.0 SP2 Runtime"?

As far as I know, if you have developed an application based on .Net 2.0, and you want to run it without any errors, you have to install .Net 2.0 firstly. And the VC++ files just a part of it. And there are requirements when you develop a VC++ application, not run this application.

I hope this will be helpful.

    Best regards,

  • Hi Mike,

I'm doing some investigations about the .NET runtime, in order to virtualize a .NET Application. It seems that the Runtime depends on the msvcr80.dll and some other staff (.manifest files) to run properly. So I need to know the complete list of VC++ files required to property host the CLR in a non-.NET Environment.
