How to get the domain name/IP/MAC c++? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

I know that a sinlge smart device (PPC/SP/WINCE) can hold many network interfaces and that each of them has a registry entry.
I saw that some entries specify the domain name, so I understand that a single device can have many domain names in registry. - Is this true?
Is there any API to retrieve domain/IP/MAC and that information (instead of reading them from the registry)?

    Thank u so much.

  • You can use the gethostname function to get the host name. The IP/Mac Addresses are contained in the IP_ADAPTER_INFO structure when you call the GetAdaptersInfo function.
