Test Case Result History RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

Is there a way in Test Center/TFS to get a report of the last run status of all your Test Cases (TCs)? E.g., can we see the result of the last time the TC was run like this:

    TC100    Passed

    TC101    Blocked

    TC 102   Failed

    TC103    Passed

Basically, we don’t care about the build status, but the last time run result of TC. Maybe, if there's a way to get a dump of all results for a TC, that can also be a starting point for us.

  • Here you go,

    1) Open Test Manager and go to your test plan

    2) Go to Test tab

    3) Click on Analyze Test Runs

    4) Double click on your run

    5) Expands Tests section

    6) You will see all your tests categorized as Pass/Fail

  • Well, that's the basic run report that Test Center gives for the plan which won't be practical when you have multiple plans and thousands of TC to look at. We want to see the last run status of all TCs, or alternately, the entire run history for each TC.

  • Hello,

If your issue still exists, you may post on Testing with Visual Studio Test Manager (MTM)(http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/vsmantest/threads)  so you can get better and quicker response as there are more experts on this kind of issues.

    Thanks for your understanding.
