• Question

  • Hi,

My company has developed a usb flashing driver to flash devices we produce, we are in the process get this driver signed for Win 8 OS.

Can you please confirm if “Passing all Win HCK test cases on Windows 8 32-/64-bit & Windows 8 RT is mandatory requirement to get MS certification for Win 8 OS”?

Does it mean even if I just need to get our driver signed for Win 8 OS makes it mandatory to get the driver working in Win 8 RT ?

    Please help.

    Also share any related links

  • There is no third party driver development for winrt, so as such, you don't need to certify for arm when you certify for x86 and x64
