Permissions for testers RRS feed

  • Question

  • What permissions should I give to testers? We use Microsoft Test  Manager 2010.

They need to run tests and publish results.

Answers

  • I believe that these should be enough:

    “Create test runs”

    “Manage test configurations”

    “Manage test environments”

    “View test runs”

  • Hi,

Your test team members should be part of "Contributors" group in TFS. That should be enough to carry out test activities using Test Manager.
