From LINQ TO SQL Class establish connection to pre-built shared data sources .rsds on SharePoint RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, this is my first post here and I am new to LINQ To SQL. I do appreciate any info or help I can get.  Here is the over view of my project.  I have created and been using an external assemblies (C#) to be used in our reporting services integrated with SharePoint.  Now, I like to try to access some of our databases using LINQ to SQL Class.  We have pre-built data sources .rsds files located in our SharePoint.

When I add new LINQ to SQL Class, under Server Explorer>Data Connections when I select Add Connection I want to be able to use and connect into our pre-built data source file which like http://myservername/sites/reports/DBConnections/connectionToDB1.rsds

This is my first problem if I can get answer for this one it may solve other issue I got.

Again thank you for your help.
