how to disable 'ADD NEW ITEMS' in SP Designer

Question

i know we can do this while list is opened in browser by edit webpart-> NO TOOLBAR>

but how do i do the same thing for a list when i create it using sharepoint designer.

goto spdesigner->addnew webaprt part->add new dava view list.

then what?

While selected (your new list), go to List View Tools on the ribbon, web part tab, then set the Chrome Type (in the appearance group).
