Display a pushpin randomly on a map around some specific location ? RRS feed

  • To display a pushpin on map is not a problem. I have a location say WASHINGTON... More then one pushpins are pointing the same location and overlaping. I want to display all these pushpins Randomly around this location (in a circular area). So that all pushpins become visible and clickable.

    Can anybody help me??? 

    I need a quick response... nd will be very thankfull to U.

  • I'm guessing you are referring to something like a cluster of pushpins that refer to the same general area. You may be interested in the expanding pushpin example here: http://www.viawindowslive.com/Articles/VirtualEarth/ExpandingClusteredPinsinVirtualEarth6.aspx Note this is an old code sample from v6.3 of Bing Maps so there would be some work required to turn this into Windows Store code.

    That said I think this would make for a very interesting user experience where you have a clustered pin, users click on it and it expands so they can select a single location from the cluster.
