Dear All,
I want to ask a bsic question on Active Directory and SharePoint 2010. I have following scenario.
I have Sharepoint 2010 Portal with windows authentication, I want to give read permission to all Active directory users. For this requirement what I need to do? Can I import all AD users in SharePoint 2010 or without importing it is possible.
Please help me on this.

if you want to allow everyone in AD read access to a site you'd go to Site Settings -> Advanced Permissions -> Add -> Users and then add "NT Authority\Authenticated Users" with read access.

Yes you can do the exact same thing with AD security groups, but I don't think AD distribution groups work.
