Internet Explorer 8

Have been working on a project, simple stuff, CSS, a couple of tables, etc. I was going to show the application
to the customer and copied it to my laptop which is running Windows 7 and IE 8 and much to my surprize stuff
was not working at all. It did have the sense to tell me 'Want to run in compatible mode' which I did and all is
well. After googling for a while didn't seem to find any definitive answers to 'what not to use' in IE8.
Bottom line, it's not the end of the world and glad I checked it before heading out to the customer!Tuesday, November 10, 2009 10:46 AM

The problem is most older versions of IE didnt render css correctly, this is where IE 8 is trying to meet standards. You will find that if it works in IE8 it will work in firefox, chrome etc.
