Upgrading SQL Server to 2014 SP2 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

My DBA Team want to upgrade our SQL Server to SQL 2014 SP2 from SP1.  SharePoint itself is not being upgraded.

I can't seem to find any clear instructions on what I need to do within SharePoint for this kind of upgrade (ie. do I need to detach DB's or anything like that?)?  Can anybody point me to the right direction?

    Thanks

  • You don't need to do anything. Just patch SQL.
