How too use HP printer 1515n on Windows Developer Preview?

All replies

  • Go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound and click Advanced printer setup. Follow the wizard. Choose to hive drive and search drivers via Windows Update.

Don't use Add devices and printers.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask for more help, if this doesn't quite explain the procedure.

  • In addition to the information from Exotic Hadron, you can install the printer in Windows 7 Compatibility mode.
The printer is compatible with Windows 7 so it should work in Windows Developer Preview.

Make sure you have the latest Windows 7 drivers from HP.
Use the link below to download the drivers:

There is also an updated firmware for the printer dated 1/19/2012 that I would install from the link above.

What is the issue you are having with Skype? Has Skype ever worked for you in Windows Developer Preview?
Pleasese provide any error messages that you are experiencing.

Please reply back with an update.

    Thanks,
