Create a prerequisite folder for Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Redistributable 10.0.40219 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to create  a prerequisite folder which will reside under C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\SDK\Bootstrapper\Packages

I created a folder by the name vcredist-x64 and placed the file vcredist_x64.exe goten from http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=210622.  However, I have tried to create the product.xml file under above mentioned folder and the package.xml file under the en folder, but when I click on the "prerequisites" button with under properties->publish for a given vsto project, the related prerequisite not showing as an available item under "prerequisites" screen

Can any one help ? I have put so many hours into it but no success.
