    Thanks for your posting!

    Base on my experience, the one approach to improve the storage performance is using the small data or file. Using the small data or file could save the bandwidth and request/response time. I am not sure there has the tool or project to test compression performance. But we could see the file become small after it is compressed. For example, you could use the azure storage explore to review the file and the compression file.
