Question about Infopath form custom code RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Everybody,

I'm not pretty skilled on Microsoft technology, so I'm sorry if this is a trivial question.

    I have executed these steps:

    1) Into a Share Point 2010 site, I have created a custom list by importing data from an excel spreadsheet.
    2) Using Infopath 2010, I have customized the form to update an item of this list. I have inserted on this form a "repeating table" item.
    3) Then I have inserted in the same form a "submit button" and I would like to associate to this button a custom code, but I cannot do it because the button to do it is disabled. Searching for this point around, I have read some topic where they said that is not possible to insert a custom code inside a infopath form related to a custom list. Is it true?

    Many Thanks and Best Regards.
    M.R.

  • This forum is for questions regarding apps for SharePoint which are new in the Office and SharePoint 2013 Preview release. For SharePoint solution questions you would be better off using either this forum or this one.

  • I'm moving this thread from "Developing apps for Sharepoint" to "SharePoint 2010 - Using SharePoint Designer, Infopath, and other customization". This thread is better aligned to that forum
